27. John Neve (Charles , William , William ) was christened on 19 May 1805 in Crowhurst, East Sussex. He died on 18 Aug 1873. John was employed as Farm Bailiff.

The will of John Neve records Albert Neve, his nephew, as being an executor.
Albert Neve was the son of William Neve who died at St. Leonards on Sea on 18 April 1877.
The will of William Neve was signed by Walter and Albert Neve, solicitors and sons of said deceased.
The will of John Neve was signed by the same Walter Neve.
This family was recorded in the 1851 Census for Hastings and the 1871 Census for Hollington.

John married Eliza Eldridge daughter of Robert Eldridge and Betsy Bourner in 1832. Eliza was born in 1814 in Sedlescombe. She died on 30 Sep 1895.

Probate Court Register Index for Wills: Eliza Neve died 30 September 1895 `Widow of Hollington. Estate to Charlotte Neve, spinster.'

Walter married Harriet Judith Benge on 5 Nov 1838 in Fairlight. Harriet was born about 1822 in Westfield.
