154. Gerald Alfred Neve (Julius Robert , Julius , David , John ) was born on 18 Mar 1874 in Wood Green, Middlesex. He died in 1965 in Burnaby, British Columbia.
He went to Canada prior to 1903 and served in the Canadian Division. He died in 1965 and was buried in the Veterans Cemetry, Burnaby, BC, Canada. A letter from Julius Robert (his father) in 1901 says "... the next son, a regular dark Neve & a rover is mining in British Columbia -- he volunteered to go to the S. Africa War & was in 53 engagements without a wound ... "
Gerald married Blanche Carrie Louise Bates on 9 Aug 1902 in Nelson, British Columbia. Blanche was born on 29 Nov 1875.
