Narrative
Wittersham Monumental Inscription recorded by Leyland L Duncan in July 1923 records : "Elizabeth wife of Simon Neve, Butcher, July ye 21 1763 aged 68. Left issue two sons and two daughters Thomas, John, Ann and Hannah. Sarah his second wife died 22 November 1766 aged 43 years. The said Simon Neve died 4 April 1780 aged 70 years."
