The NE 1/2 24-8-21-W4 was farmed by Mr Thomas Neve (1868 - 1957) and his wife Millicent Neve (1881-1960) from 1938 - 1950. The most noteworthy crop raised on the farm was rhubarb. Tom used horses only, during his farming years, except for his easily identifiable Model A 1/2 Ton. Mr Neve worked as a telegrapher with the Alberta Railway and Irrrigation Company, and the Canadian Pacific Railway before starting to farm in 1938. Tom's wife, Millicent, created exquisite handwork. The Neve Family and their offspring enjoyed many happy times on the farm. The experiences and family get-togethers in a rural setting were very much appreciated by all family members. Two of four children still survive. Deceased children are Mrs Vila (Burns) Little, and Ed (Mary) Neve, both formerly of Lethbridge. -- "Water Works Wonders", A History of the White, Wilson, McMahon, River Junction School Districts (page 393) by Rex Little
