He was educated at King's College, and Christ's College Cambridge (1854 -58). Ordained Deacon (Ely) 1860. Curate of Ampthill Beds 1860 - 62. Curate of Lodsworth, Sussex 1863 - 68. Curate of Hopton, Suffolk 1869-1872. Curate of Kirk Sandall, Yorks 1872 - 76. Vicar of Childs Urcal, Salop 1876 - 96. Latterly resided at 20, Palace Court, London W., where he died. BA 1858, MA 1861.
