Narrative
Marriage certificate states she was 21 years old at time of marriage on 3 Jan 1863 at Rokewood Mance and that her father Jeremiah was a Publican in Cork. Mary Ann left Ireland, to Liverpool - there she boarded the ship "Utopia," (on her own -- her boyfriend jilted her) -- leaving 24 Mar 1861, & arrived at the depot at Melbourne, Victoria on 25 Jun 1861 -- aged 20 years. Mary was employed from the ship by Patrick Dennehy of Clare Street, Geelong, Victoria.
