She met Gordon Neve when he was staying with his father, Ernest, after 2 RWK's return to Brookwood from Ballykinler. She married twice more after being widowed then took her two children to Sydney, Australia from Hong Kong in 1940, remaining there until 1945. At one stage she lived in 'Links End', Camber.
