Narrative
He was an Austrian fur trader and was given freedom of the City of London. CLRO ref:CFI/1264.
He was a member of the Goldsmiths' Company and traded as a Furrier in Cheapside. He was made free by redemption on 19.03.1802 aged 25. Kent's directory lists Giesler C-F, Furrier and Skinner at 13 Cheapside. Wakefields lists Giesler and Nicolay as furriers at Shoemaker Row, Blackfriars and later (1794) at Creed Lane, Ludgate Street. He died between 6 June 1821 and 6 Nov 1822.
