Narrative
(note continued from his brother, Charles Higham) "Henry Higham, born in 1850, died on Christmas Day, 1898, apparently leaving his wife Alice and ten children destitute. A fund for his widow was begun; the chairman of the fund committee was Charles James Longman of Longmans, the famous London
publishing firm" [PC. 4 Feb. 1899].
