Mrs. D. Addenbrooke (nee Gloyne) advises that Julius Neve went to Valery, New South Wales, Australia.
An oblituary from the "Bellinger Courier Sun" newspaper of Friday, Sept.23rd 1955 (page 6) reads : "The death occurred at his home at Valery on Monday night last, September 19 of Mr Julius Neve a well known farmer of Valery at the age of 67 years. The late Mr Neve had suffered ill-health for a considerable time. A few months ago he underwent an operation in Brisbane. Shortly after his return he was admitted to Bellinger River District Hospital returning home last week. He was found in bed by his wife on Monday night apparently dead. An inquest will be held at a later date. The late Mr Neve had lived with his wife and members of the family on his farm at Valery for many years. He was a very industrious man & devoted much time to the work on the farm. His wife & a grown up family survive. Following a service at St Margaret's church of England at 2.30pm on Tuesday, the last rites were performed at the Bellingen cemetery. Canon Symonds delivered the services at church & graveyard."
