Eberhart David Neve, son of Eberhart David Neve born in Thisted Feb. 5th, 1792 was married twice. He died in 1870 and is buried just outside the church door at Saby. There was one son in the first marriage, and seven in the second. He was manager of a large farm in Ravebakken in Dronningslund. Later he moved to Saby where he was chief of transportation, post master and telegraph manager. A painting of him is in Logstor. A son in first marriage was Everhart Jorgen Soby Neve, born in 1817.
Children in his second marriage were Nikoline, first child, born 1845, Laura, born 1847, and Edvard Dinus Neve, born in 1850. He emigrated to America in 1870 and lived in Omaha, Nebraska until 1880 when he moved to Tampa, Florida, where he became the owner of a large orange plantation. From this undertaking he became very wealthy. He was married to Alexsia Maria de Jesus-Ganzolis, of Italian descent. They had no children.
He died in 1920 in New York on his way to Denmark. Christian Sigmund Neve, 4th child, was born in 1851. He was a successful business man in Logstor. They had seven children, Nielda, Elfrida, Eberhart David, Kirstine, Miels, Holger and Else. He died in 1921. 5th child, Frederick Vilhelm Neve, born 1852. Went to America in 1873. Was married to Anna Jorgensen. Was Captain of a Danish regiment in the Spanish-American was. He was inventor and manufacturer of the crown pipe. Died 1916. 6th child-Sophus Neve, born in 1858. Camen to America in 1875. Located in Blair, Nebraska and was a watch maker and photographer, later moved to Sioux City, Iowa where he died. 7th child-Niels Arnold Neve, born in 1862 and died in 1910.
