William, a farm servant, and Sarah, occupation "country service, dairy & brew house", emigrated to Sydney, Australia on the Palmyra, departing 26 February 1838 and arriving 26 September 1838. William was a Bounty passenger and upon arrival went into the service of Mr Chippendale of Liverpool, Sydney, for 25 pounds a year plus rations. Sarah served as a nurse during the voyage and William as an attendant in the ship's hospital. There is no record of any children. Sarah and William are both buried at St Bartholomew's, Prospect.
