Narrative
He went to Canada prior to 1903 and served in the Canadian Division. He died in 1965 and was buried in the Veterans Cemetry, Burnaby, BC, Canada. A letter from Julius Robert (his father) in 1901 says "... the next son, a regular dark Neve & a rover is mining in British Columbia -- he volunteered to go to the S. Africa War & was in 53 engagements without a wound ... "
