Found Cyril's enlistment paper of 1915 as well as this photo of him under the WWI file # 4554. Cyril enlisted August 20, 1915 in Melbourne giving his father George, a farmer, as his next of kin. At the same website was a studio photograph of him (ID Number DA 13265) taken days before Christmas 1915. The summary reads, "Studio portrait of 4554 Private (Pte) Cyril Ambrose Neve, 7th Battalion, of Morwell, Victoria and another unidentified Private. Pte Neve enlisted on 20 August 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Themistocles on 28 January 1916. He returned to Australia on 25 January 1919."
