Details of his will published in 1895, states that he died at Guy's Hospital, Southwark. He was of 10 Perrin Road, Tulse Hill and employed as a 'hospital clerk'. Probate was granted to his wife. Effects £365.
The 1881 census (Kent 0736/64/40) list him with his wife and six children at Silverdale, Elmcroft, Kent.
