Will proven by Walter Neve (brother) and Herbert Neve (cousin), retired Major, left £ 7,122 13s 6d. Was in Kent Reserve Volunteers, winning the shooting 'Challenge Cup' (still in the family) in 1874 and 1880. He was living at Old Place, Sandhurst, Kent in 1900. Educated at Cheltenham College from May 1867 until 1869 (?). Shot for the rifle team. Farmed at 'Old Place', Sandhurst, Kent which lies just to the SE of the church overlooking the Romney Marsh. The 1891 census records him there with a Belgian lady, a Marie Colette, single, aged 34, who was visiting. He was described as a land agent and farmer of independant means. He died in Stressa, Italy but he is buried by the south door of Sandhurst church. In 1881 was living at Sissinghurst and farming 340 acres.
